Today I attempted to make the Rainbow Cake that Mckmama's friend made for her. It looks terrible at least from the outside, I am no cake decorator that is for sure. It tastes wonderful, except that I am now on a complete sugar overdose from eating cake batter and tasting the frosting. It was a ton of work, not sure if I will attempt this again or not. Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Great first try! I like yours with pastels better than the others. (Plus, I have Wilton dyes). I haven't made it yet...waiting for the right holiday!
It took me longer than it should have, trying to keep my 8 month old and 2 year old occupied. It took about 45 minutes of bake time because I only had two pans. It didn't take very long to mix up the batter, getting the colors right was a little tricky. I would say it probably took me an hour and a half if I would have done it start to finish.
Great job girl!
Now the real question is - Who cleaned up all the prep bowls?????
So much work!!! Mine took 3 days! We have the same black bowls:)
